What should you watch after Lupin?
If you loved Lupin, another heist series may not be what you actually want next. Underneath the cons and disguises, the stronger pull is watching someone charming and brilliant stay one step ahead, with dry humour, momentum and someone you genuinely want to win.
What to watch next
Three routes. Not another list of heist shows.
The Diplomat
Hot now
The same warm, sarcastic tone, the same competence under pressure, and the same cat-and-mouse thinking.
A different world. Much of the same pleasure in watching someone out-manoeuvre everyone around them.
Slow Horses
Current adjacent
The same warm tone, the same sarcasm, and the same competence.
Less polished heroics, more damaged misfits. The pleasure is still smart people being better at the job than they first appear.
Hustle
Hidden gem
Warmth, sarcasm, competence, momentum, and the pleasure of rooting for the con to work.
Older British television, and extremely close to the part of Lupin that makes the trick itself enjoyable.
This still is not your match.
